"Agenda kita jelas tidak ada jalan-jalannya. Kalau mereka mau jalan-jalan di waktu luang ya silakan," ujar Wakil Ketua BK DPR, Nudirman Munir, tentang 'kunjungan kerja' DPR ke Yunani
Me: I went abroad for some times, and it was the company who paid me. And to be honest, i do spend the spare time by doing some shopping or sightseing to the tourism object. BUT, i shop with my own money, i didn't extend my stay in hotel which the company paid for me, and mostly i paid the meal by myself. The important thing is, i bring the result back from my training. I have to be ready to run the tool which i've been trained, and so on.
Now, the question to be raised is whether they have real and USEFUL result back to the homecountry or not? Well, they argued that they made a contract with 17 furniture buyer to be, but is it worth enough with the money they've spent and remember, they haven't be a real buyer though.
And, if they planned to go there to learn the code of ethics, will they apply those in our lovely country? Will the parlement be more ethical after their visit? I honestly doubt it. And Greece, by the way, just went bankrupt beginning of this year. Don't you think it has something to do with ethics?
So, ask yourself now. Was their visit is really a worthy? It was our money, dude, to pay their visit. Meanwhile, my self, never got a chance to visit Greece, country that i really want to see.
